Grammar School is recruiting for a Head of Department (HOD) for Islamic Studies to lead our department for the upcoming academic year. This leadership role requires a visionary educator who can oversee the curriculum, mentor teaching staff, and ensure the highest standards of Islamic education across the school. You will be instrumental in aligning the department's goals with the school’s overall mission and regulatory requirements.
The HOD will be responsible for monitoring student progress, conducting departmental reviews, and staying updated with KHDA and Ministry of Labor directives. As a senior member of the academic team, you will serve as a point of contact for parents regarding the Islamic Studies program. Candidates must be ready for immediate deployment as notice periods cannot be accommodated.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HOD or in a similar leadership role.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum School.
A Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or Education.
High proficiency in English communication.
Must be available to join immediately without a notice period.
Recent Home Country Police Clearance Certificate.
Subject to KHDA and Ministry of Labor approval.
Strong leadership, team building, and management skills.
Experience in curriculum design for Islamic Studies.
Ability to conduct teacher observations and provide constructive feedback.
