LABORATORY ASSISTANT @ GRACEHR
The Road Construction Project in Geita, Tanzania is currently seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to support the quality control division. This role is fundamental to testing the materials used in the project to ensure they meet the rigorous standards required for road durability and safety.
You will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and accurately recording results to assist the engineering team. This position requires someone with a solid background in materials testing and a strong commitment to scientific accuracy within a busy construction site setting.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Laboratory Science or a relevant field.
Minimum of ten years of experience in road or civil construction projects.
Strong technical knowledge regarding testing of soil, bitumen, and concrete.
Ability to maintain and calibrate laboratory testing equipment.
Excellent data management and reporting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proven ability to work in a professional construction environment.
Understanding of safety protocols regarding handling of chemical and physical samples.
Accuracy and precision in documenting test results.
Dedication to upholding material standards for road infrastructure.
