PLANT METALLURGIST @ GOLD CIRCUS LIMITED
Gold Circus Limited is a growing mining company located in Makongolosi, Chunya District, Mbeya, Tanzania. We are looking for a dedicated Plant Metallurgist to join our team and oversee our metallurgical processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing plant performance, ensuring recovery rates are maximized, and maintaining efficient mineral processing operations. This role involves close collaboration with the operations and maintenance departments to ensure seamless production while adhering to strict safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
The role requires a proactive professional who can perform sampling, testing, and analysis of minerals and processed products. You will identify process challenges and propose corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Plant Metallurgist will prepare comprehensive technical and production reports and ensure all activities comply with Tanzanian mining regulations. The work location is based in Makongolosi, Chunya, Mbeya, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic mining operation in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
At least a Diploma in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of two years of professional experience in metallurgy or mineral processing within the mining industry.
Profound understanding of mineral processing techniques and the operation of industrial plant machinery.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems in a plant environment.
Excellent technical report writing and communication skills to convey production data clearly.
Ability to work effectively within multicultural teams and maintain high professional standards.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to optimizing plant performance and efficiency.
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian mining regulations and relevant industry best practices.
Commitment to adhering to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards at all times.
Ability to perform regular sampling, testing, and detailed analysis of minerals and processed products.
Availability to work at the mining site in Makongolosi, Chunya District.
