QUANTITY SURVEYOR (INFRASTRUCTURE) @ GMC
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure division in Dubai. The primary focus of this role is to manage all costs related to infrastructure and road projects, from initial feasibility studies to final account settlements. You will be responsible for cost estimation, bill of quantities preparation, and contract administration to ensure that projects remain financially viable while meeting quality standards.
Candidates must have a solid background in the infrastructure sector, specifically dealing with sewerage and drainage systems. Your role will involve close collaboration with site teams and procurement to negotiate with suppliers and control project spending. This is a critical position that requires analytical precision and a deep understanding of the UAE construction market dynamics.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in infrastructure and road works.
Expertise in preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Proficiency in cost estimation for sewerage and stormwater networks.
Experience in contract administration and variation management.
Skilled in performing site measurements and valuation of work done.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and industry-standard surveying software.
Strong negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and subcontractors.
Knowledge of local UAE procurement laws and construction standards.
Ability to analyze financial data to provide accurate project forecasts.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
