We are seeking a dedicated and professional House & Hospitality Steward to join our team in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our guest house to the highest standards, ensuring that every guest experiences a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment throughout their stay. This role is pivotal in creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
The House & Hospitality Steward will manage daily cleaning operations, prepare rooms to a meticulous standard, and oversee the freshness of common areas. You will also handle basic meal preparations including fresh breakfasts and fruit baskets, while coordinating with local vendors for supplies. Your ability to provide warm, hospitable service while maintaining strict attention to detail and property organization is essential to our success.

Key Requirements
2-5 years experience in hospitality housekeeping
Fluent in English and Swahili
Proven record of honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Friendly, approachable demeanor with a natural talent for hospitality
Eager to learn and take initiative in daily tasks
Comfortable and proficient using a smartphone
Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards under pressure
Knowledge of guest room preparation and styling techniques
Professional attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
