CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / SR. ENGINEER – WATER PROJECTS @ GLOBUS RECRUIT
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager or Senior Engineer to oversee the execution of high-impact water infrastructure projects in Tanzania. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the overall site management, including the supervision of engineering teams, subcontractors, and resource allocation to ensure project excellence. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining strict safety protocols and ensuring that all construction activities meet rigorous quality standards and technical specifications. This senior-level role requires a strategic professional capable of managing complex site logistics and stakeholder relationships. You will oversee the project from site mobilization through to final commissioning and handover, ensuring that community water needs are met through robust engineering solutions. Key Requirements
6–12+ years of experience in construction management or senior engineering in civil works.
Extensive experience specifically in Water Supply, Pipeline, or related Water Infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage large on-site engineering teams.
Expertise in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on construction sites.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges during the construction phase.
Experience in stakeholder management, including liaison with government authorities and clients.
Commitment to high-quality project delivery and adherence to international engineering standards.
