PROGRAM COORDINATOR – CASE MANAGEMENT @ GLOBAL CHILD ADVOCATES TANZANIA
Global Child Advocates Tanzania is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator – Case Management to provide comprehensive support services to children, families, and alternative care settings. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preventing child abuse, trafficking, and exploitation, while ensuring full compliance with both national and international child protection standards. This position is vital for strengthening family structures and advocating for the needs of vulnerable children within the community.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with government social welfare officers, foster families, and various community stakeholders to facilitate successful family tracing and reintegration. In addition to technical case management, the role involves training and mentoring social services workers, preparing detailed case reports, and maintaining a high standard of child safeguarding. This is a full-time, annually renewable role based in Dar es Salaam, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant social impact within a faith-based organizational framework.

Key Requirements
University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of direct case management experience with children and families.
Proven experience working with Tanzanian local government social welfare structures.
Professional fluency in both English and Kiswahili, both written and spoken.
Strong understanding of local Tanzanian child welfare laws and legal frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and confidential case files and progress reports.
Experience in recruiting, training, and monitoring foster care families.
Ability to facilitate training for faith-based groups and social workers.
Mature character with high ethical standards and commitment to child safety.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using case management tools.
