A reputed agricultural farm in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an Extension Officer with expertise in Agricultural Vegetable Farming and MIS Reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing farming activities, ensuring data accuracy in reporting, and managing resources within a GCC context. This role involves significant field work and coordination with agricultural teams to optimize crop yields and farm efficiency.
Candidates must have a valid or expired Qatar/GCC driver's license to be considered. The position requires a professional background in agricultural engineering or agronomy, with specific experience in data analysis and ERP systems like Oracle. Key Requirements
Prior experience in Agricultural Vegetable Farming.
Proven expertise in Data Collection and MIS Reporting.
Significant experience working in GCC/Gulf or Middle Eastern countries.
Possession of a valid or expired Qatar/GCC driver's license (Mandatory).
Educational background in Agricultural Engineering or Agronomy.
Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation.
Experience with ERP solutions such as Oracle ERP.
Knowledge of greenhouse and glasshouse farming techniques.
Ability to perform plant protection and toxicology assessments.
Strong communication skills for extension officer duties.
