ACCOUNTANT @ GIG CONSULT
GIG Consult is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage comprehensive financial operations within our Dar es Salaam office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of financial records, timely preparation of reports, and strict adherence to local regulatory requirements. By providing actionable financial insights, the Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the company's fiscal health and long-term strategic decision-making processes.
Key duties involve executing bank reconciliations, managing payroll and statutory payments for entities such as TRA and NSSF, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The professional will act as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is organized and compliant. We are looking for someone who demonstrates integrity and a keen eye for detail to handle our growing financial portfolio effectively.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
Strong integrity, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage audit processes and financial planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Proven capacity to work under minimal supervision.
