BIM MODELER / COORDINATOR (MULTIPLE POSITIONS) @ GENERAL ELECTRIC
Leading architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, infrastructure developers, and global consultancies are seeking skilled BIM professionals to drive digital construction, improve project delivery, and enhance collaboration across projects in Nigeria. The core focus areas include Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation, 3D modeling for Architecture, Structure, and MEP, as well as clash detection and coordination. Professionals will work on transforming the future of construction through digital twin integration, parametric design, and smart building technology. Opportunities are available for various roles including BIM Modelers, Coordinators, Managers, and Engineers. Candidates will be responsible for creating detailed construction documentation, shop drawings, and managing facility management integration (6D BIM). The role requires a strong commitment to sustainable and green building design while maintaining high BIM standards and workflow development. Work arrangements may include remote, hybrid, on-site, or project-based contract roles depending on specific project needs within Nigeria.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in Revit for Architecture, Structure, or MEP modeling.
Strong experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
Proven expertise in BIM standards and workflow development.
Ability to create 3D models and construction documentation/shop drawings.
Experience with Scan-to-BIM and laser scanning technologies.
Knowledge of 4D (Scheduling) and 5D (Cost Estimation) BIM processes.
Familiarity with facility management integration (6D BIM).
A solid understanding of AEC workflows and industry standards.
Proficiency in computational design tools like Dynamo or scripts.
Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary project teams.
