CONTRACT ENGINEER/MANAGER @ GENERAL ALUMINUM & GLASS ALOMA
General Aluminum & Glass ALOMA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Engineer/Manager to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all contract-related aspects of our projects, ensuring that all agreements are legally sound and aligned with company objectives. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initial drafting and negotiation to final execution and closeout. You will work closely with project managers and the legal department to mitigate risks and optimize project delivery within the aluminum and glass sector.
As a Contract Engineer/Manager, you will also be tasked with monitoring project progress against contractual obligations and providing expert advice on any variations or disputes that may arise. You must possess a deep understanding of the local construction landscape in the United Arab Emirates and be able to navigate complex regulatory environments. The position requires a proactive individual who can maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Contract Engineer or Manager specifically in the aluminum and glass industry.
Strong knowledge of contract law, FIDIC conditions, and construction industry standards.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills for dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to review technical drawings and specifications for complex glass and aluminum works.
Experience in cost estimation, tendering processes, and budget management.
High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking for comprehensive risk assessment.
Knowledge of local Dubai building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure contractual compliance.
