UNIT ACCOUNTANT (PLANT FINANCE) @ GEEPEE INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED
Geepee Industries Private Limited is hiring experienced professionals for the position of Unit Accountant for its expanding international operations in Africa. We are looking for candidates with 8–12 years of core plant/unit accounting experience in a manufacturing setup, with strong exposure to costing and margin analysis. This role offers plant-level ownership and significant international exposure, reporting directly to the CFO. The candidate will handle end-to-end unit accounting operations with accuracy and timeliness while ensuring audit readiness and month-end closing procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for MDC (Material Direct Consumption) validation, cost allocation, inventory accounting, and physical stock verification. Key responsibilities also include bank monitoring, payment processing, and treasury coordination. The role requires a strong understanding of product-wise margin analysis and statutory compliance, including TDS. Key Requirements
Minimum 8–12 years of core plant or unit accounting experience.
Must have a manufacturing background, preferably in Petrochemical, Plastics, or Rubber.
Qualification of MBA, M.Com, or CA (Qualified, Inter, or Finalist).
Strong experience in product costing and variance tracking.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Lookups.
Expertise in inventory accounting and physical stock reconciliation.
Knowledge of statutory compliance including TDS regulations.
Ability to handle MDC (Material Direct Consumption) validation.
Experience in bank monitoring and treasury coordination activities.
