Gari.com is seeking a Lead Mechanic with an electrical specialty for our Mbezi Beach location. You will lead vehicle diagnostics, electrical repairs, and routine servicing while ensuring high-quality control across the workshop. This leadership role involves guiding a team of mechanics to provide exceptional service for major brands such as Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki.
With at least 4 years of experience, you should be proficient in using OBD systems and diagnosing complex electrical issues. We are looking for a technical expert who is honest, quality-driven, and capable of maintaining a productive workshop environment. Key Requirements
Minimum 4 years workshop experience
Skilled in diagnostics and OBD systems
Experience with Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and similar vehicles
Strong leadership and technical skills
Honest and quality-driven
Ability to supervise and train junior mechanical staff
Deep knowledge of automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams
Experience in performing complex engine and transmission repairs
Commitment to workshop safety standards and environmental regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot difficult mechanical issues
