QA/QC ENGINEER (MECHANICAL – PIPELINE) @ GALFAR ENGINEERING
Galfar Engineering is seeking a QA/QC Engineer with a focus on Mechanical and Pipeline works. You will be responsible for implementing quality management systems on-site and ensuring all construction activities meet client specifications and international codes. Your role involves regular inspections, documentation, and coordination with third-party inspectors. The salary offered for this position is between AED 4,000 and AED 13,000.
This position requires a technical expert who is detail-oriented and committed to excellence. You will review Quality Control Plans, manage material traceability, and ensure that all welding and coating activities are compliant. This is a free recruitment role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Valid certification as a Welding Inspector (CSWIP or AWS).
Thorough knowledge of international codes like ASME, API, and AWS.
Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC for oil and gas pipelines.
Ability to prepare and review Quality Control Plans and ITPs.
Experience in conducting site audits and vendor inspections.
Strong knowledge of material traceability and documentation systems.
Excellent communication skills for dealing with client representatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and data management.
Knowledge of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods and results analysis.
Detailed understanding of coating and painting quality standards.
