PROCUREMENT (1 POSITION) @ G GARDEN AND GRILL
G Garden and Grill is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and acquisition of all supplies needed for our operations in Dodoma. This role involves identifying reliable suppliers for fresh produce, beverages, and kitchen equipment, while negotiating the best prices without compromising on quality. You will be responsible for the entire supply chain process, from issuing purchase orders to verifying the quality of goods upon delivery and ensuring timely payments in coordination with the accounting department.
Effective inventory management is a key part of this role, as you will need to monitor stock levels closely to prevent shortages or excessive waste. You will maintain an organized record of all procurement activities and supplier contracts to ensure transparency and cost-efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of G Garden and Grill by ensuring that our chefs and service staff have everything they need to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supplies Management or a related field.
Professional registration with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
At least 2 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and suppliers.
Excellent knowledge of inventory control systems and supply chain management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software for record-keeping.
High level of integrity and ability to work ethically with external vendors.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Excellent analytical skills for price comparisons and market research.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules for fresh supplies.
