The Information Technology (IT) specialist at G Garden and Grill will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing all technological systems within the establishment. This includes overseeing the local area network, ensuring stable internet connectivity, and managing hardware such as computers, printers, and Point of Sale (POS) systems essential for restaurant operations. You will provide technical support to staff members and ensure that all software is updated and running smoothly to prevent any service disruptions for our customers.
Beyond basic maintenance, the IT role involves implementing data security measures to protect company information and customer transaction data. You will be tasked with identifying areas where technology can improve efficiency, such as digital menu systems or automated inventory tracking. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and hospitality software.
Strong knowledge of network configuration, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues for computers and peripheral devices.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data backup procedures.
Ability to manage and maintain company servers and email infrastructure.
Experience in software installation, configuration, and user training.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose system failures.
Excellent communication skills to translate technical issues for non-technical staff.
Availability to work flexible hours to handle emergency technical outages.
