ASSISTANT LEAD TEACHER (PRESCHOOL) @ FX FES CONSULTANTS
FX FES CONSULTANTS is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Lead Teacher for a preschool setting to join our client's growing educational team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing, creative, and safe environment that fosters the holistic development of young children. You will play a vital role in implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum activities, observing student progress, and maintaining a well-organized classroom. This position is ideal for an individual committed to early childhood education and child-centered teaching philosophies.
In addition to daily instructional support, you will be expected to maintain strong lines of communication with parents, collaborate effectively with the teaching staff, and uphold the highest standards of child safeguarding. The role requires a candidate who can assist with classroom management using positive reinforcement techniques, document developmental milestones, and actively participate in school events and staff training. The work location is in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where you will contribute to building a foundation for lifelong learning in our young students.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or a related field
Minimum 2 years' experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children
Strong understanding of child development theories and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for parent engagement
Ability to work collaboratively with a Lead Teacher
Proficiency in classroom management using positive guidance
Commitment to child safeguarding and professional ethics
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and documentation
Ability to prepare and organize educational teaching materials
Montessori training or certification is highly preferred
