DATA ENGINEER (3–5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) @ FTEK SOLUTIONS
We are seeking a dedicated Data Engineer to join our team for an urgent project based in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves designing and building scalable data pipelines and managing cloud-based data infrastructures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. The project offers flexible contract durations of three, six, or twelve months, providing a dynamic environment for professional growth and technical contribution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services. You will work extensively with PySpark and SQL to process large datasets within Lakehouse and Medallion architectures. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting ETL pipelines and ensuring the integrity of data within Delta Lake environments, contributing to the overall success of high-priority projects in the UAE.

Key Requirements
3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
Expertise in Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse and Medallion architecture.
Proficiency in Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Experience managing Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for data processing.
Advanced programming skills in PySpark for big data transformation.
Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Proven ability to design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines.
In-depth knowledge of Delta Lake implementation and management.
Capability to work effectively on project-based durations (3, 6, or 12 months).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
