Freight Forwarders Tanzania is seeking a dedicated and proactive Client Relationship Officer to join our professional logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our esteemed clients and our internal operations team, ensuring that all logistics needs are met with precision and excellence. Your primary focus will be to manage and strengthen relationships with both existing and potential clients, acting as their main point of contact for inquiries and service updates. Beyond relationship management, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate essential logistics activities, including declarations and port operations. You will be tasked with ensuring all documentation is accurate and fully compliant with national and international regulations. By collaborating closely with internal departments, you will help streamline operations and provide effective solutions to complex logistical problems, thereby enhancing overall client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
At least 3 years of working experience in freight forwarding or a related industry.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Declarations.
Proficiency in Port Operations and Logistics processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality customer service.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
Effective problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges.
Ability to ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
Capacity to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in using logistics management software and office productivity tools.
