ENVIRONMENTALIST (1 POSITION) @ FORLAND
The Environmentalist intern will support the FORLAND project in monitoring the environmental impact of forestry and land use activities. This role involves conducting field assessments to ensure that project interventions align with environmental standards and climate resilience goals. The intern will help identify potential ecological risks and suggest mitigation measures to protect local biodiversity and water resources in Mafinga.

Key Requirements
A degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
Sound knowledge of environmental impact assessment (EIA) principles.
Understanding of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies.
Experience in conducting environmental field research and data collection.
Familiarity with Tanzanian environmental laws and international standards.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating ecological data.
Ability to write comprehensive environmental monitoring reports.
