DRIVER/CAR MECHANIC @ FLIGHTLINK
Flightlink is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Driver/Car Mechanic to join our operations team based in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of staff and the execution of essential errands, ensuring all activities are conducted with professionalism and strict adherence to safety protocols.
In addition to driving duties, the role requires proactive vehicle maintenance, including routine inspections, minor repairs, and coordination of major servicing. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining our fleet in excellent condition, ensuring all documentation such as mileage logs and inspection records are accurately kept and up to date.

Key Requirements
Valid Tanzanian Class C+ driving license held for at least 3 years, with a clean record
Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Mechanics or proven mechanical experience
3-5 years of driving and vehicle maintenance experience
Good knowledge of engines, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics
Familiarity with Arusha roads and routes
Basic literacy, numeracy, and record-keeping skills
Physically fit for repair and maintenance tasks
Good Swahili communication; basic English is an advantage
Clean background / good conduct certificate
Ability to follow traffic laws and company safety procedures
