FL TRADERS COMPANY LIMITED is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and recording all financial data of the company, ensuring that all income and expenditures are accurately tracked and reported. This role requires a professional who can maintain high standards of financial integrity and provide clear financial insights to the management team. The position is a full-time role suited for individuals with a strong background in the logistics, transportation, and clearing and forwarding industries. Beyond basic accounting tasks, the role involves navigating the specific financial requirements of the supply chain sector. Candidates must be residents of Dar es Salaam and possess valid identification. Priority will be given to those with advanced professional qualifications such as CPA (T) or ACCA.
Key Requirements
Must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an accounting role within the Logistics industry.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the logistics and transportation sector.
Must have a valid NIDA identification card or an official introductory letter from the local government.
Must be a resident of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Candidates with CPA (T) or ACCA professional certifications will be given high priority.
Previous experience in Clearing and Forwarding or Supply Chain management is highly desirable.
Proficiency in recording and managing all company financial transactions including income and expenditures.
Ability to work full-time and commit to the company's operational goals.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
