HEAD OF SPORTS @ FK INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS
We are seeking an experienced Head of Sports to provide strategic leadership across our Primary and Secondary campuses. This pivotal role involves developing a comprehensive sports vision and managing a full calendar of activities, including fixtures, competitions, and athletic events. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader capable of managing coaches and driving high levels of student participation and talent development across various sports disciplines.
The Head of Sports is also responsible for ensuring that all activities adhere to the highest safeguarding and health and safety standards. You will manage the sports budget and serve as a key communicator between the school and the parent community regarding sports achievements and schedules. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Physical Education, or Sports Management.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Cambridge curricular sports coordination.
Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team of sports coaches.
Experience organizing fixtures, competitions, and school-wide athletic events.
Deep understanding of child protection and safeguarding standards in sports.
Strong budget management skills for equipment procurement and event logistics.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and leadership.
Ability to drive student participation and elite talent development.
Strategic vision for school-wide physical education and wellness programs.
Experience planning and executing educational school trips and performances.
