LEGAL INTERN @ FINCA BRANCH
The Legal Intern at FINCA Branch will play a pivotal role in supporting the Legal Department, ensuring the institution effectively manages litigation and legal risks. This position involves direct engagement with the judicial system, assisting in the drafting of credit-related pleadings, and facilitating the registration of security documents to protect the bank's interests. The intern will work closely with Legal Counsel to maintain case integrity and provide robust legal support.
Furthermore, the role entails active participation in addressing internal fraud and police cases. This includes coordinating with law enforcement agencies, gathering necessary evidence, and liaising with external counsel to build strong cases. The successful candidate will gain invaluable experience in corporate law, mortgage documentation, and courtroom procedures while operating within a fast-paced banking environment in Arusha.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law
Relevant legal practice experience
Outgoing and energetic personality
Comfortable and experienced in courtroom settings
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Capacity to work full-time (8 hours daily)
Strong proficiency in legal drafting
Excellent analytical and research skills
Understanding of Tanzanian criminal and civil procedures
High level of integrity and attention to detail
