QUANTITY SURVEYOR (ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL ENGR.) @ FIBREX
Fibrex's MEP Division is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a background in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. The role focuses on managing all costs related to MEP projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring that our projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are delivered within budget while maintaining the high quality our clients expect. This involves detailed measurement, estimation, and contract management throughout the project's duration.

Key Requirements
Relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE construction industry.
Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, attested by MOFA.
Currently residing in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and current market pricing.
Proficiency in preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
Experience with FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract used in the UAE.
Skill in managing variations, progress valuations, and final accounts.
Excellent negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
Analytical mind with strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software tools.
