CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER @ FAVORITE GROUP
Favorite Group is looking for a strategic and highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team in the manufacturing sector. Based in Dar es Salaam, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on manufacturing operations and supply chain finance, ensuring the company maintains a strong financial position while driving growth and operational efficiency.
In addition to strategic oversight, the successful candidate will manage the company's relationships with financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and internal/external auditors. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and taxation within a complex industrial environment. You will be expected to analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance and support high-level decision-making processes across the organization to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or related field is an added advantage.
CPA or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
Minimum of 10 years' progressive finance experience.
At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Expertise in taxation and advanced financial analysis.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain finance.
Experience dealing with audits, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
High level of integrity and professional ethics in financial reporting.
