ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR @ FAVORITE GROUP
Favorite Group is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Internal Auditor to join their team in Dar es Salaam. This role is central to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization within the security industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the audit department to evaluate internal controls, manage risks, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. The responsibilities include conducting thorough audits of financial statements, treasury functions, and credit controls. You will also be involved in tax reporting and assessing operational workflows to identify areas for improvement. Candidates should possess a strong background in finance or accounting and be prepared to travel as needed to fulfill audit requirements across different branches or sites.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., CPA(T), ACCA, CISA, CFA, CIA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
1-3 years relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, or assurance.
Expert knowledge of Financial Controls.
Expert knowledge of Treasury and credit controls.
Expert knowledge of Financial regulatory reporting.
Expert knowledge of Tax both direct and indirect taxes.
Expert knowledge of Operational controls.
Willingness to travel as required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
