ASSISTANT SOUS CHEF @ FARM OF DREAMS LODGE
The Assistant Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations while ensuring high-quality food preparation, food safety, and efficient kitchen performance. Key responsibilities include assisting in the daily management of kitchen operations, preparing and presenting high-quality meals according to lodge standards, supervising and supporting kitchen staff during food preparation and service, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the culinary excellence of the lodge.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a lodge, hotel, or restaurant
Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel
Knowledge of both local and international cuisine is an added advantage
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Good organizational and time management skills
Culinary training or certification is an added advantage
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Ability to manage kitchen inventory and reduce waste
Strong leadership and team motivation skills
