Fakulin Agriculture is seeking passionate Agronomists to join their team in Tanzania. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical guidance, conducting field demonstrations, and fostering relationships with local farming communities to enhance agricultural output and sustainability. The available duty stations for these positions include Masasi (covering Mtwara & Lindi), Dar es Salaam (covering Pwani, Dar & Zanzibar), Njombe (Njombe & Makambako), Geita/Katoro (Mwanza & Nearby Regions), Kasulu (Kigoma Region), Sumbawanga, and Iringa. Applicants must be graduates of the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) with 1 to 3 years of post-graduation experience. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high level of commitment to field work and possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse farming groups. Demonstrate strong knowledge and passion for the agricultural sector.
Exhibit a genuine willingness to work closely with local farmers in rural areas.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills related to field crop management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Swahili and English.
Capacity to work effectively in designated duty stations such as Masasi, Dar es Salaam, or Geita.
Proficiency in agricultural extension services and farmer training programs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting field objectives.
