SENIOR ACCOUNTANT @ FAE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ogba, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, managing the general ledger, and overseeing financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in inventory costing, variance analysis, and maintaining robust stock controls to ensure operational efficiency. The salary for this position ranges from 300,000 to 350,000 per month.
In addition to technical accounting tasks, the Senior Accountant will ensure full compliance with ICAN standards and Nigerian tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, and CIT. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management while strengthening internal controls. This role requires liaison with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth financial audits and regulatory adherence. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the manufacturing sector and proficiency in modern ERP systems.

Key Requirements
HND/Bsc in Accounting
Membership of ICAN is a significant advantage
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience specifically in a Manufacturing Company
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control techniques
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws including VAT, WHT, and CIT
Ability to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial data management
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration
