MANAGER – BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT @ EXIM BANK TANZANIA
Exim Bank Tanzania is seeking a dedicated and proactive Manager – Business Continuity Management to join our Internal Control Unit within the Business Operations & Service Delivery department. This role is pivotal in leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bank's Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework to ensure operational resilience during any disruptive incidents while safeguarding our assets, reputation, regulatory compliance, and customer services.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire BCM lifecycle, from conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and coordinating Business Continuity Plans (BCP) across various departments to collaborating with IT teams to validate Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP). You will be responsible for planning and executing drills, tabletop exercises, and simulations to test the bank's preparedness, while providing post-incident reviews to ensure constant improvement of our operational strategies.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Risk Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in BCM, disaster recovery, or risk management within financial services.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing BIAs, BCPs, DRPs, and Crisis Management protocols.
Strong knowledge of Bank of Tanzania (BoT) regulations and international BCM standards.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate live incident responses and conduct regulatory audits.
Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent executive communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in evaluating BCM capabilities of third-party service providers.
Proficiency in technical documentation and risk reporting software.
Professional certification in BCM (e.g., CBCP, DRI) is highly preferred.
