Exactmanpower is currently seeking a highly qualified Accountant to join a leading organization within the Petroleum Industry (Oil & Gas). This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within a specialized sector. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing statements, and ensuring that all transactions align with industry regulations and standards.
The position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented and possesses a strong background in accounting practices specific to the petroleum sector. You will handle tax filings, internal audits, and budget monitoring to support the financial health of the company. Key Requirements
At least 2-3 years of accounting experience.
Mandatory experience working within the Petroleum (Oil & Gas) industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Excel.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger management.
Familiarity with tax laws and compliance requirements in Tanzania.
Experience in cost accounting and inventory management within the oil sector.
Ability to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Professional qualification such as CPA (T) or ACCA is highly preferred.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
