We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Internal Audit Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and governance systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive audits, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements to enhance the company's financial and operational integrity. You will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and accountability. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA (T), ACCA, or CIA is highly preferred.
Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or in a similar auditing role.
Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to conduct independent audits and provide objective, evidence-based reports.
Sound understanding of Tanzanian financial regulations and compliance standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for reporting to management.
High level of professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively within a growing team and meet strict deadlines.
