CREDIT ANALYST (2 POSITIONS) @ EQUITY BANK TANZANIA
Equity Bank Tanzania is seeking to hire 2 Credit Analysts to join our lending team. This role is essential for assessing the creditworthiness of existing and potential bank clients by conducting thorough financial analysis and evaluating risk. The Credit Analyst will prepare detailed credit memos, perform industry research, and provide recommendations to credit committees regarding loan approval. Key Requirements
Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in credit risk or lending analysis.
Strong ability to interpret financial statements and cash flow data.
Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Knowledge of credit risk management frameworks.
Ability to conduct comprehensive industry and market research.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and relationship managers.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
Highly ethical with a strong sense of accountability.
