SENIOR OFFICER - MONITORING & EVALUATION @ EQUITY BANK
The Senior Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) is a critical role responsible for overseeing the effectiveness and impact of Equity Bank’s various programs and initiatives. The officer will design M&E frameworks to track progress, ensure accountability, and provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and integrity of the bank's organizational outputs.
Working on a contractual basis, the Senior Officer will collaborate with different departments to collect data, conduct field visits, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management. The position requires a high level of analytical rigor and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. The role is based in Tanzania and follows the bank's standard procedures for program evaluation and performance monitoring.

Key Requirements
University degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related analytical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation roles.
Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, or R.
Strong skills in data collection design and methodology.
Experience in writing high-quality evaluation reports for stakeholders.
Ability to conduct field monitoring visits and interview beneficiaries.
Knowledge of logical frameworks and performance indicators.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Experience working within a corporate or banking environment is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
