WAT SACCOS is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Tellers Interns to join their dynamic team. In this role, interns will be pivotal in driving membership growth, promoting a range of financial products including loans and savings, and actively engaging with the community. Responsibilities include conducting field marketing, organizing door-to-door campaigns, and participating in broader community outreach initiatives to expand the SACCOS's reach and impact. The successful candidates will be responsible for educating prospective clients on the benefits and application procedures of various products, assisting new members through the registration process, and ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed. Furthermore, interns will play a crucial role in gathering customer feedback, addressing inquiries, and handling complaints, contributing to continuous service improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of banking operations, cash handling procedures, and customer service principles.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic banking/financial systems.
