SPARE PARTS WAREHOUSE OFFICER @ EPICBR
The Spare Parts Warehouse Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of inventory within the warehouse facilities located in Mwanza. The primary focus of this role is to receive and inspect incoming spare parts to ensure they meet quality standards and match order specifications. You will be tasked with recording all inventory transactions accurately in the ERP or Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain real-time data integrity. Proper storage through designated binning and labeling procedures is essential to ensure easy retrieval and organized stock management.
In addition to receiving, the officer will issue spare parts to the workshop, sales departments, and external customers based on approved requests. This role requires conducting regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to identify discrepancies early. You will monitor stock levels to initiate re-order requests timely, preventing stock-outs that could disrupt operations. Reporting on slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged parts is also a key responsibility to optimize warehouse space and capital efficiency.

Key Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
3 years' experience in warehouse or spare parts inventory management.
Experience in automotive or equipment spare parts environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal departments.
Physical stamina and ability to handle warehouse tasks.
Analytical skills for stock reconciliation and reporting.
