MINING ENGINEER @ EPICBR JOBS
The Mining Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, design, and supervision of mining operations to ensure both safe and highly efficient production cycles. You will be tasked with monitoring active mining sites, optimizing extraction methods to maximize output, and ensuring that all operations strictly adhere to local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Furthermore, the role requires the preparation of detailed technical mining plans, production schedules, and in-depth performance reports. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including geologists and surveyors to meet production targets, conducting regular site inspections and analyzing operational data to recommend cost-effective process improvements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar mining role.
Willingness and flexibility to travel or work outside Tanzania when required.
Strong technical knowledge of mining operations and mine planning software.
Comprehensive understanding of HSE standards within the mining industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with geologists, surveyors, and production teams.
Proficiency in technical report writing and project scheduling.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing mining production targets.
Expertise in data analysis to drive operational efficiency.
