HSE MANAGER @ EPICBR
EpicBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join their Transport & Logistics division in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and programs that align with both local Tanzanian regulations and international safety standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring full compliance with occupational health laws while promoting a robust safety-first culture across all operational sites through continuous engagement and training.
In addition to policy development, the HSE Manager will be tasked with conducting regular risk assessments, safety audits, and thorough inspections. When incidents occur, the manager will lead investigations using root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions. We are looking for a leader who can coordinate emergency response planning and crisis management activities to safeguard the company’s employees and assets in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Professional HSE certifications are an added advantage.
5+ years' experience in HSE within transport, logistics, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards & best practices.
Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation & safety audits.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to develop HSE policies, procedures & programs in line with regulations.
Competency in leading emergency response planning and crisis management.
Excellent communication skills for promoting safety awareness campaigns.
Analytical mindset for conducting detailed root cause analysis on incidents.
