SENIOR SALES MANAGER / SALES HEAD @ EMP GLOBAL
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in Uganda. If you have a strong background in industrial or agri-equipment sales, enjoy leading from the front, and are passionate about building teams, expanding market presence, and driving business growth, this role is for you. The position is based in Kampala and requires a professional with extensive experience in agriculture machinery and construction equipment. The role offers a monthly compensation of USD 2.5K to 3K along with accommodation and attractive allowances. As the Sales Head, you will lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets while developing and implementing strategies to expand market reach. You will build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key clients, identify new business opportunities, and oversee end-to-end deal execution. Additionally, you will conduct market analysis to track trends and collaborate with management on budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies to ensure long-term partnerships and business sustainability.
Key Requirements
10 – 15+ years of proven experience in Sales or Business Development
Strong exposure to Agriculture Machinery, Construction Equipment, or Industrial Products
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing sales teams
Expertise in developing and implementing market expansion strategies
Ability to build and sustain relationships with distributors and dealers
Strong analytical skills for market trends and competitor tracking
