HSE OFFICERS @ EMIRATES LINK
Emirates Link is currently seeking experienced and dedicated HSE Officers to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site, ensuring that all operations comply with both company standards and UAE regulatory requirements. We are looking for professionals who have a deep understanding of the risks associated with large-scale contracting projects and can proactively manage safety cultures. As an HSE Officer, you will play a critical role in conducting regular site inspections, performing risk assessments, and facilitating safety training for the workforce. You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to implement effective HSE strategies and investigate any incidents to prevent recurrence. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of professional experience as an HSE Officer specifically within the UAE or GCC region.
Proven track record working with main contractors on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
Demonstrable expertise in comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Possession of valid HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or OSHA standards.
Ability to join the organization immediately or within a very short notice period.
Conduct regular site inspections and comprehensive risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Proficiency in accident investigation, detailed reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
Strong communication skills for conducting safety inductions and training sessions for a diverse workforce.
Deep knowledge of local United Arab Emirates safety laws and international environmental regulations.
