SALES AND LOAN RECOVERY OFFICER @ ELM MICROFINANCE
The Sales and Loan Recovery Officer will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales of financial products and ensuring timely recovery of loans. The role combines customer relationship management with credit monitoring, aiming to maximize revenue while maintaining healthy loan portfolios. The officer will actively engage clients, provide tailored financial solutions, and implement recovery strategies to safeguard the company
Key responsibilities include promoting and selling loans and related financial services, identifying customer needs, achieving sales targets, and guiding clients through the loan application process. The role also involves tracking loan performance, identifying early warning signs of default, recommending restructuring options, and implementing effective collection and recovery plans, including negotiating repayment schedules and coordinating asset repossession if necessary. Strong client relationship management is crucial, involving professional communication, handling queries, and building long-term relationships. Additionally, the officer will ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, prepare regular reports on loan portfolio performance, and provide insights for management decision-making. Collaboration with sales and credit risk departments is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Key Requirements
Minimum of Diploma in Business studies.
Computer literate.
Strong networking and problem-solving skills.
Expert marketing skills and ability to implement innovative strategies.
Experience in debt collection, repayment negotiations, and recovery strategies.
Understanding of credit risk management and loan portfolio monitoring.
Strong numerical and analytical skills for assessing loan performance.
Ability to identify early warning signs of default and propose solutions.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in sales and loan recovery (preferred).
