ACCOUNTANT @ ELITE GLOBAL
Elite Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our professional team in Dodoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and ensuring the company remains in compliance with all local Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations. This role is fundamental to our financial operations and requires a professional with high integrity and a strong analytical mindset. You will be working from our office located at Tembo Avenue, nearby Mkombozi Bank.
In this position, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform regular bank reconciliations, and oversee payroll processes including statutory deductions. The role also involves assisting with internal and external audits, budget preparation, and providing financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
Professional accounting certification such as CPA (T) or ACCA is highly preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian financial regulations and tax laws.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in data entry.
Ability to prepare and present detailed financial reports and statements.
Experience with payroll management and handling statutory deductions (WCF, NSSF, PAYE).
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
