Elevate Hire Solutions is seeking an experienced Export - Import Executive to join a leading manufacturing operation in Tanzania. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring that all import and export operations are handled efficiently and in compliance with local and international regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire shipping process, from documentation to final delivery, ensuring that all logistics are streamlined to support the company's industrial activities. Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shipping or Logistics operations specifically in Tanzania.
Strong understanding of customs procedures and import/export compliance regulations.
Proven experience working with manufacturing or industrial companies.
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders including clearing agents and transporters.
Expertise in handling end-to-end import and export documentation.
Proficiency in managing local logistics movement and shipment coordination.
Demonstrated ability to liaise with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
Strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in cargo movement and scheduling.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management.
