STORE KEEPER @ ELEPHANT LODGE
We are looking for a reliable Store Keeper to manage inventory and supplies for Elephant Lodge. The role covers receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring lodge stock while maintaining five-star standards in accuracy, hygiene, and efficiency. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our lodge by meticulously managing all incoming and outgoing goods. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing wastage, and supporting the overall guest experience through efficient supply chain management.
Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement & Logistics, or a related field preferred
Previous storekeeping or inventory experience preferred; hospitality or lodge experience is an advantage
Strong organizational, record-keeping, and multitasking skills; able to work under pressure
Knowledge of stock rotation and inventory control, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork abilities, with integrity and accountability
Competent in English and good computer skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently.
Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
Adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards for stock handling.
Ability to conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
