ELAMBO SKY TRAVEL is seeking a highly driven and professional Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling comprehensive flight and travel bookings using the Galileo GDS system. Beyond technical booking skills, we are looking for an individual with a strong background in marketing and client acquisition to help grow our customer base and represent our brand effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, where the consultant will actively market our travel services and build long-term relationships with clients. To succeed in this position, you must be target-oriented, as there is a mandatory performance expectation to secure at least 10 clients per week. In addition to a net monthly salary of Tsh 400,000, we provide lunch and offer performance-based growth opportunities and incentives to reward your hard work and dedication to the company's growth.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in using Galileo GDS for travel and flight bookings.
Strong ability to independently source and secure a minimum of 10 new clients per week.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to meet and exceed weekly sales targets consistently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative tasks.
Strong negotiation skills to finalize travel deals and packages.
Deep understanding of local and international travel regulations and visa requirements.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing travel documentation.
Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs and travel emergencies.
