EASTLINE LOGISTICS TRADING LIMITED is seeking professional and dedicated Truck Drivers (Dereva wa Roli) to join our logistics operations based in Dar es Salaam. The core responsibility of this role is the transportation of goods across long distances, specifically handling transit routes to Congo. We are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency while representing the company in the regional transport sector.
Candidates will be responsible for the secure delivery of cargo, adhering to strict timelines, and navigating international borders. Key Requirements
Must possess a valid Class E driving license.
Must have a valid passport for international travel and transit purposes.
Proven experience in long-distance transit driving, specifically routes to Congo.
A formal letter of recommendation or proof of employment from a previous employer.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen with a valid NIDA identification card.
Possession of a professional truck driving certificate from VETA, NIT, or other recognized institutions.
A minimum of 3 years of active experience in heavy truck driving.
Age must be between 28 and 45 years or older.
Must be prepared to undergo a rigorous interview and assessment process.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks for long-haul journeys.
Excellent spatial awareness and ability to maneuver heavy vehicles in varied terrain.
