TRACKING COORDINATOR (2 POSITIONS) @ EAST LINE LOGISTICS TRADING LIMITED
EAST LINE LOGISTICS TRADING LIMITED is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Tracking Coordinators to join their dynamic team in the transportation and logistics industry. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of shipment data and ensuring that all logistics operations flow smoothly from origin to destination. The primary work station for this full-time position is Dar es Salaam, where the successful candidates will manage real-time updates and documentation for cargo shipments. The Tracking Coordinator will be responsible for providing daily tracking updates for copper truck shipments and monitoring customs clearance processes. Key duties include communicating effectively with clients and the fleet regarding vehicle issues, preparing manifests, and addressing delivery delays or complaints professionally. The role requires a high level of stress resistance and the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods to ensure all shipment tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Key Requirements
At least 2 years' experience of transportation and logistics industry.
Experience in tracking and transit requirements.
Fluent in both English and Swahili (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) required for communicating with Government authorities.
Highly sensitive to numbers and text, able to detect subtle errors as this is the most critical quality.
Proficient Computer Skills: Mastery of Office software, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Stress Resistance and Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling documents for multiple shipments simultaneously.
Personality is extroverted and positive to work well within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of cargo movement and customs status.
Ability to provide real-time updates on cargo status and delivery progress professionally.
