LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN INTERN @ EAST AFRICAN CRUDE OIL PIPELINE (EACOP)
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is offering a Logistics & Supply Chain Internship in Tanga, Tanzania. This internship provides a practical learning experience for individuals interested in the complex world of logistics and supply chain management within a large-scale energy project. Interns will support various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, transportation coordination, procurement assistance, and documentation processing. This role offers exposure to the operational challenges and strategic importance of efficient logistics in the oil and gas sector. It is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in managing material flow, optimizing processes, and contributing to the timely delivery of resources crucial for project success.
Key Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to handle data entry and maintain accurate records
Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of procurement processes
Problem-solving aptitude for operational challenges
