DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR @ EARTH LUNGS
Earth Lungs is looking for a creative Digital Content Creator to support the External Affairs team in a dynamic corporate marketing environment. This role provides hands-on experience in developing social media marketing initiatives, focusing on awareness-raising and fundraising efforts through email marketing and promotional activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining brand standards across all content and organizing digital media libraries to ensure efficient workflow within the organization.
The role involves creating compelling multimedia content including written posts, blogs, newsletters, and professional-grade photos and videos. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fundraising and programs, to align digital marketing initiatives with broader organizational goals. Additionally, the Digital Content Creator will evaluate campaign performance indicators, create insightful reports, and suggest strategic changes to improve overall engagement and impact. The position is based in Dar Es Salaam and requires frequent travel for field work to capture authentic moments and interviews.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor in Journalism, Mass Communication, Photography, Video Production, or IT.
Proficient with camera equipment, including video stabilization, lighting, and framing.
Basic video editing skills using mobile applications such as CapCut, InShot, or similar tools.
Expertise in content creation, including captioning, graphic design, and video editing.
Excellent copywriting skills in both Kiswahili and English for short, engaging social media captions.
Deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp Status platforms.
Ability to organize digital media libraries and maintain consistent brand standards.
Capable of capturing real-time events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage quickly.
Strong storytelling instinct with an understanding of what interests local audiences.
Reliable data management skills for organizing high volumes of photos and videos.
Cultural awareness and respect for local norms while creating engaging digital content.
